Some women also get ‘linea nigra’, which is a dark line, which is straight to the length of abdominal region. This line fades within some weeks of delivery. Some women also get the dark brown patches on facial area and also on neck. They usually disappear or become light after delivery. This week may also make you experience more rate of heartburn than the previous times. This sensation may occur in the regions of chest, upper abdomen and even throat area. It is the common complaint during pregnant women at 12 weeks. The main cause for heartburn issues is the increase in progesterone hormone during pregnancy. This hormone makes relaxation of the valve between oesophagus and stomach area. This makes the stomach acids for entering the oesophagus and it causes a feeling of irritation and gives a feeling of heart burn.
There are some things to be followed for getting relief from heartburn:
Consume six small meals in a day, instead of three small meals
Do not consume liquid drinks with meals
