Timing Ovulation to Conceive a Boy
By Sandy Dean

If you want to have a baby boy, there are a few natural ways that you can manipulate the timing and position of intercourse and vaginal PH during conception that can greatly increase your chances of having a son.

Of these variables, timing conception to correspond with the woman’s ovulation can be one of the most important pieces of this puzzle. Here’s why:

Y (Boy) Sperm Are Faster, But Weaker Than X (Girl): During conception, a man’s sperm contains an equal amount of chromosomes that after conception can produce either a male and female baby. If a Y chromosome sperm fertilizes the egg first, the conception will result in a baby boy. If it’s instead an X, the result will be a baby girl.

Since the sperm contain both X and Y chromosomes, couples have a random chance of conceiving either sex going in. However, you can manipulate different variables, based on what we know about the different characteristics of each.

For example, the Y (boy sperm) are very fast swimmers and will generally make it to the egg first. The catch though is that they are much more fragile and die off faster. The X (girl) are extremely hard and can survive for a longer period of time in a harsher environment.

Timing Of Ovulation For A Boy: That’s why in order to have a son, you should conceive as close to possible on the day of ovulation. The most optimal time is on the day of. If you conceive well before ovulation, you would increase your chances of having a girl because this would give the hardier X sperm the advantage since they can survive long enough to wait for the egg while the Y can not.

There are all kinds of methods that women use to track their ovulation, including cervical mucus, the position and feel or the cervix, and ovulation predictor kits. In my opinion, the methods that rely upon cervical inspection are just too subjective or individual to be accurate enough. Ovulation predictor kits are more accurate, but I find the salvia tests to be much more accurate than their urine counterparts. This accuracy is extremely important since the boy sperm die off very quickly and optimally need to be waiting once the egg is released.

Other Variables For Having A Boy Baby (Vaginal PH, Intercourse Positioning): Of course, ovulation timing this is only one of several variables. You’ll also need to create a vaginal PH / environment that is conducive to producing a son. An environment that is too acidic favors girls much more as they are hardier enough to survive this. You need to make your PH more alkaline either by douching with specific formulas (not just baking soda and water) and / or consuming and avoiding certain foods. Gender selection clinics charge hundreds of dollars for these douches, but there are recipes that allow you to make them at home. (If you are opposed to douching, you can change your vaginal acidity using foods, but you’ll have to be much more diligent about it.)

I highly recommend testing your PH with testing strips so that you’ll know exactly where you fall. Highly acidic women sometimes have a greater challenge conceiving boys. Knowing your acidity going in is extremely helpful because you will then know how much adjustment you’ll need and you’ll also know when you’ve achieved the “boy zone.”

It’s also recommended that you conceive using intercourse positions that deposit the sperm as close to the cervix as possible. This gives the Y sperm less distance to travel and helps them reach the egg before they begin to die off. It’s also recommended that the woman have an orgasm for male conception (but not for a girl) as doing so will make the environment more alkaline and less acidic.

I’ve recorded my personal conception story on my blog “Conceive A Boy.” I’ve also included tips, hints, and resources to help couples who wish to conceive a son using natural and inexpensive methods. You can check it out at http://conceive-a-baby-boy.blogspot.com/

The third trimester of Pregnancy spread over the 28th-40th week (or till delivery) and is a most crucial period for the mother and the baby. This is time of excitement of the due arrival of the child as well the anxiety behind the process. Lot of physical & emotional developments takes place.

By now, the abdomen turns very large and prominent. Movements of the baby are clearly visible. However, towards the end of the 8th month the frequency of movements reduces as the baby now has very little space to move about inside. Most of the development of baby’s organs is complete and now it will steadily grow in size and gain weight. There will be a steady increase in the mother’s weight as well; most women gain about 4-5 kgs in the last trimester and a total of 8-10 kgs throughout the pregnancy.

At this third trimester pregnancy uterus contractions (termed Braxton Hicks contractions) continue till the end. Urinary tract is more stressed due to frequent urination. Mother may complain about loss of appetite, while in many cases it increases too. The best way is to have small meals at frequent intervals to avoid discomfort and heartburn.

Constipation also bothers most pregnant women in this third trimester of pregnancy, once again due to the pressure of the uterus on the colon. It may be associated with hemorrhoids, which usually subside following delivery. It’s a must to drink plenty of water to keep hydrated and include fruits for the fiber. If hemorrhoids are severe regular use of laxatives will help.

Breathlessness becomes more pronounced, mostly on exertion but may occur even on lying down on the back. This can be avoided by sleeping on the sides, preferably the left side as that promotes placental circulation.

A major change in posture may lead to backache as the stretching of the abdomen exerts pressure on the back. This may be associated with leg cramps as well. Mild stretching exercises, under supervision of your attending doctor, will help reduce both.

Swelling of feet, predominantly near the ankles might be noticed due to the gain in weight. Mild swelling is normal and reduces with elevation of feet at rest. However it is advised to consult your doctor if the swelling is more or does not subside by elevation. It may also be accompanied with Edema, which is swelling of the face.

The blood circulation is in full swing at this third trimester stage of pregnancy and this can cause visibility of blood vessels on face, neck, arms etc especially when the skin is fair. The varicose veins, which are the blue or red lines beneath the skin, become prominent. The vaginal discharge is heavy towards the end of the pregnancy. If it’s an amniotic discharge then the doctor should be immediately consulted.

Emotions play a huge rule during the last days of pregnancy at third trimester stage. So it’s very important for other people in the family to adjust with the mood swings of the mother. Keep her happy & you will also stay happy. Just with a thought that you will hold a small bud soon in your hands, you will just be on the cloud nine.

Its very normal if every parent in this world want balance family. If they have one baby boy for their first child, then usually they really want the next expecting baby is girl. If you are new parent and want baby boy for the first time, then you need to read the tips on how to conceive a baby boy. And if you already has a baby boy and want baby girl now, you could read the tips on how to conceive a baby girl from the article below.

Tips to Conceive a Girl
By Sandy Dean

If you’ve found this article, I’ll assume that you want to conceive a daughter and are looking for tips on natural ways that you can do this at home. This article will provide tips on ovulation timing, vaginal acidity and PH, and intercourse positioning that will help you conceive a girl baby.

Before I get started though, I’d like to briefly touch on X and Y chromosome sperm characteristics. It’s important to understand this because all of the pointers take advantage of the X chromosome (girl sperm) traits.

A man’s sperm contains X (girl) and Y (boy) chromosomes. If an X chromosome fertilizes the egg first, then this will result in girl baby. However, the girl producing sperm are slower than the boy producing sperm. To counter this, the girl sperm are much more hardy, can survive for much longer in the vaginal tract, and can also withstand a much harsher or highly acidic vaginal PH. The tips in this article then, will focus on taking advantage of their hardiness, while compensating for their lack of speed.

1. Accurately Time Conception Well Before Ovulation: We already know that boy sperm can’t hang around for very long because they’re weaker. But, girl sperm have no real problem surviving this. So, to take advantage of this situation, you want to conceive three days before you actually ovulate. This will give the boy sperm time to die off before the egg is released. Of course, it’s very important you know exactly when you ovulate. If you are even a little late, you’ll have more viable, fast swimming boy sperm in the vaginal tract. This is why I recommend saliva ovulation predictors as they are inexpensive, reusable, and highly accurate.

2. Use Intercourse Positions That Give The Boy Sperm Further To Travel: Again, we want to make the trip to the egg a long and hard one for the boy sperm. To do this, you should use intercourse positions that place the sperm as far away from the cervix as you can manage (shallow penetration.) This forces the boy sperm to travel further and for a longer period of time in an environment that is already hostile, (and can be made even more so), which leads me to:

3. Make Your Vaginal Acidity / PH As High As You Can Through Foods And / Or By Douching: Since we’re trying to give the boy sperm a long, hard trip to the egg both in terms of timing and distance, the last step is to make the vaginal PH high enough to be in the “girl zone.” This means you need a PH high enough to greatly discourage the sperm that would produce a boy.

This will be a lot easier for you if you know your PH going into this process. You can easily find this out using PH testing strips. Once you have your number, you’ll then know how much you need to make alterations.

Some women are naturally acidic and some are naturally alkaline. No matter where you fall, one way you can change this is through eating and avoiding certain foods. To conceive a girl, you want to consume foods high calcium and magnesium and avoid foods high in potassium and sodium.

Another way to make your PH higher is through specialty douches (this is more than vinegar and water for most.) Gender selection clinics sell these douches (sometimes for over $400), but there are recipes that allow you to get the same results at home.

The fastest, most effective way to make your PH higher is to use both douching and food. I understand that some women are opposed to douching though. You can change your PH with food, but you’ll need to be pretty diligent about it.

Still, with a little diligence and effort, none of these tips are difficult or expensive and can pay off big time when your daughter is born.

Conceive A Girl is a website that offers hints, tips, and natural, inexpensive methods for couples wishing to conceive a baby girl, as well as a resources for the gender selection douche recipes and foods to alter vaginal acidity and PH, as mentioned in this article. + How to Conceive a Boy?

The state of pregnancy is supposedly a wonderful stage of a mother’s life. The second trimester pregnancy is considered as the enjoyable period of the pregnancy, which is usually spread over the 13th to the 28th week of the pregnancy stage. Although the body continues to witness changes, many symptoms of the first trimester disappear. The mother may not experience fatigue, nausea and morning sickness as prevalent in the first trimester pregnancy.

The baby undergoes many changes and it’s a fully developed fetus now. A good growth is seen in the fetus’s organs. The baby’s movements are well felt by the end of the 5th month. The abdomen will start growing and will actually expand. The uterus also grows and occupies the large abdominal duct. So the stretch marks start becoming prominent, which could result in possible itching on the abdomen. As the first trimester pregnancy may not witness huge changes in areolas & nipples, they become bigger and prominently darker during the 2nd trimester pregnancy.

During this second trimester of pregnancy, mother feels better than the 1st period. The fetus starts its movements known as “quickening”. Weight gain is now rapid than the first period. During the end of 5th month, the uterus top reaches till the navel. The uterus can have contractions, often termed as Braxton Hicks contractions. These contractions are unpredictable, but don’t cause much pain.

A yellowish fluid is discharged from the breasts and the mothers should now start preparing themselves for breast-feeding. Due to the increasing size of the baby, changes like palpitations, gastric sensations, heartburn, lungs pressure may be felt. There is formation of a dark line from the navel till the lower abdomen. The increased hormones may cause bleeding from the nose and gums too.

Weaker women can experience iron deficiencies. The risk of miscarriage is higher in this period, if the pregnancy is on an increased risk. A white colored discharge from the vagina is normal, but a doctor should be seen if this discharge turns red.

Since second trimester pregnancy is the most developing phase of the pregnancy, utmost care should be pursued in terms of diet and blood levels. Needless to emphasize on a mineral and vitamin rich diet, iron is also vital factor needed for the growing baby and placenta. Intake of iron proficient diet like spinach, red meat, legumes, dates, raisins, whole grains etc should be on the daily list.

Frequent water intake of a minimum 8-10 glasses a day should help to control the infection of urinary tract. The increased belly size may not let women sleep well and movements during the sleep may not be comfortable. In such cases, a pillow can be used between the legs while sleeping on the sides. Also, the increasing weight results in swelling of the limbs for many women. Leg cramps are common as the pressure is on the lower limbs. So a little bit of slow walking can help stretching and relaxing the muscles.

Some good changes may be a glow in the skin and growth in the hair. Overall, second trimester pregnancy is the most enjoyable phase for any expectant mother!

Pregnancy is described as the most beautiful experience in a woman’s life. Pregnancy, the stage of carrying the fetus or embryo, is generally spread over a period of 9 months (calculated as 40 weeks). This period is divided into three periods, known as TRIMESTERS. They are first trimester pregnancy, second trimester pregnancy, and third trimester pregnancy. Each trimester pregnancy is comprised of around 3 months each and has a varying effect on the expectant mother’s life. Prenatal care is of utmost importance in all the trimesters.

The first trimester pregnancy begins from the first day of the last menstrual period the woman has had and is spread over the first 12 weeks. Conception particularly occurs after 2 weeks of the start of the prenatal period. The body experiences many changes in the first trimester. This period witnesses development in fetus’s growth.

As an expectant mother, one may see all the early symptoms of pregnancy. While missing of periods is normal and required, few women may experience slight outflow. If the periods occur with huge outflows, the woman should immediately see the doctor. Also, the woman may see various changes in her body like enlargement of breasts along with tenderness.

While weight gain is not so prominent in many at the first trimester pregnancy, few may have a slight increase their weight, which may result in fatigue. Weakness can also result in increased metabolism and hence sweating. A not so prominent abdominal enlargement is seen. Urination frequency increases and following the hormonal changes that the pregnancy brings in, some women tend to encounter constipation, which brings on extra pressure on the abdomen.

One of the most prevalent changes that any expectant mother notices at first trimester pregnancy stage is nausea and morning sickness. While the term may be associated with a feeling of vomiting or vomiting in the mornings, it is not so every time. Many may experience this throughout the course of the day. This can be more prevalent during mornings, evenings or nights. Mild vomiting doesn’t cause any harm to the baby, but if it’s severe the woman should the doctor. Morning sickness also results in loss of appetite in the first trimester pregnancy, which can cause weight loss in many.

Increased vomiting leads to loss of body fluids, which in turn adds on the fatigue. Hence, the diet should be mineral rich and vitamin rich. Morning sickness cannot be completely eradicated in the first trimester pregnancy, but it can be controlled though. The diet should be spread in small intakes during the course of the day to keep the digestive system running well.

Dizziness prevails all the times for many mothers and this is aggravated with motion or traveling. Motion sickness is not necessarily a pregnacy symptom, but can be associated with a morning sickness with motion or travel. Fainting is also seen in some women, especially with fatigue, as there is an increased blood supply towards the uterus and legs.

The mother should take extreme care in case of her diet. The first trimester pregnancy sees an assumingly good growth in the fetus and hence the mother is expected to maintain her body in accordance with the same.

Do you ready to get pregnant moms? if so, you could read these great secrets written by Tehmina Mazher. She will show you 3 tips to get pregnant in her article. so please read it carefully and try to get the key point of the tips.

Three Secrets To Get Pregnant
By Tehmina Mazher

A healthy baby boy or girl is just not the result of egg meets sperm. There are three critical things that needed to happen for conceiving and carry a healthy fetus to full term.

Secret No.1 Avoid old eggs and sperm Research indicates that to produce a healthy, viable fetus, you need freshly released egg and sperm. This means that you should avoid having sex a couple of days before ovulation is due, as sperm can last up to 3 days. A three day old sperm may have degraded somewhat and be potentially defective. Likewise, you should avoid sex just after ovulation, when the egg is still viable (up to 24 hours after release) but again is ageing and potentially defective.

The best approach is to have frequent intercourse during the peak fertile time, and stop once ovulation is over, so that a fresh sperm can meet a fresh egg. Ideally, live, fresh sperm should be lining the fallopian tube ready to fertilize an egg when it is released. The best way to do this is to have sex the day before you ovulate. This means that if you ovulate on Day 14, then you should have sex on Day 13 and 14 and then abstain on Day 15. This will help ensure healthy sperm are present in your Fallopian tubes, ready for the egg to be released. You should also avoid having intercourse for 3-5 days prior to day 12, to build up a high sperm count. Continue to have intercourse every day or every other day until you are sure that ovulation has occurred. Once ovulation has occurred, again abstain for a couple of days. This reduces the risk of an ageing (and potentially defective) egg being fertilized, which is likely to result in a miscarriage.

Secret No.2 Build up your Partners sperm count prior to getting Pregnant There are techniques that men can use to build up their sperm count, so that the day before you ovulate they are able to deliver the maximum number of healthy sperm. For men, this means 3-5 days of abstinence (sorry guys, no ejaculation at all). Any longer than this and you risk sperm ageing prior to ejaculation.

There is also some ancient yoga, or Tantric Sex practices that can build up sperm count even further. In the 3-5 days of abstinence, research shows that several sessions of extended foreplay, but with no ejaculation, can build up sperm levels (but beware of frustration levels!). Repeating this process over a period of time can increase sperm quality and quantity.

Secret No. 3 Don’t try to conceive if ovulation occurs on day 17th or later This is the most important part of the secret. Not applying this part of the Secret is a major cause of miscarriage. Once you understand it, you will be able to recognize which cycles would result in a viable fetus, and which cycles would result in a miscarriage. Temperature graphs van be used to determine the timing of ovulation. During your monthly cycle, basal (or body-at-rest) temperature changes and when you ovulate, the production of progesterone increases. Progesterone is the hormone released by the corpus luteum, the “crater” left behind after an egg has been released. Progesterone production causes a small (0.5º Celsius or 1º Fahrenheit) rise in basal temperature. So you know that the day your basal temperature increases is probably the day you ovulated. However, ovulation could have occurred up to 3 days before the temperature increase.

The optimal time for ovulation is day 14 or earlier, when the chances of producing a viable fetus are about 90%. If you ovulate on day 15 or later, the chances fall to 43%.

This part of the secret was not very well known. Regular late ovulation decreases your chances of getting pregnant. You ovulate less, statistically, and the endometrial lining is not optimal anymore to allow implantation. Late ovulation also results in a higher risk of miscarriage, as the older egg may be defective, and the aging corpus luteum may not be able to produce enough progesterone, which is the hormone that prepares your uterus for pregnancy, and prevents you from getting your period.

I am quite sure that by following these three simple and easy secrets which are not known to most of the couples, the chances of getting pregnant will be quite higher.

I am a gynaecologist by profession, married and have a cute little daughter. Currently not practicing, but to satisfy the passion of service I love to help my preggy friends.

Pregnant women with asthma are not necessarily “risk” patients. In fact, asthma may take strange forms during pregnancy. One third of women do not see any changes in their asthma during pregnancy, other marked improvement when they are pregnant, and others may encounter with the strengthening of asthmatic events at the time and it is necessary to closely monitor every pregnant lady with asthma.

Most people felt the millions of changes, which the body goes through during pregnancy – even pass through the lungs, interesting and intelligent modifications to adapt. Indeed, one of the most over weigh aspects of care for pregnant patients is that it is normal to get stressed. This makes it difficult to estimate whether symptom is normal or a problem that requires medication.

The female body adjusts gradually to the development of pregnancy. Because pregnant women increased their weight, the lungs must adapt to the additional work that creates their breathing caused by the increase in weight. Pregnant lady breathe faster than normal, which is normally did not get noticed. The body increases the frequency of what is called the “minute ventilation”.

With the increase in the abdomen, she amended the form of bottom of the chest. Sidecar is separate from the abdomen with a layer of muscle, called the pinhole, which is vital and allows us to breathe. With the increase in their abdomen increases the pressure up to the diaphragm, thus impairing breathing deeply and gradually increase the frequency of breathing. To extend the small chest, ribs dissolve apart.

Remember: Just because you have asthma does not mean that the baby will have – in fact more likely is not. Usually it is possible to take their usual drugs after the birth of the baby, but always consult your doctor. Not only that it is safe to breast-feed your baby, and breastfeeding is also beneficial effect on the immune system of the infant. With the recovery of the body of your pregnancy and the normalization of any changes that are made in the lungs and chest breathing you will return to normal levels.

Diabetes in pregnancy represents a distinct burden intolerant of carbohydrates, which begins or is first diagnosed during pregnancy. It may also represent the inability of tissues to absorb glucose from the blood flow during pregnancy, due to the shortage of hormone insulin.

Reasons:

First you must know what Diabetes is. Glucose is a form of sugar which is found in many foods, including pastries, pasta, potatoes and bread. The body uses glucose, to be supplied with energy. Glucose is stored in the liver, muscle and fat tissue. Pancreas produces a hormone called insulin (hormones are chemical compounds produced in any part of the body being moved to other parts in order to show its effects there). Insulin is needed to enable glucose to enter the liver, muscle and fat tissues, thus reducing the amount of glucose in the blood. In diabetes blood glucose levels remain abnormally high. In many forms of diabetes that happens because the pancreas does not produce enough insulin. Instead, the problem is in the placenta.

During pregnancy the placenta to the baby food supplier gets affected. It also produces a large number of other hormones that affect the normal response of the body to insulin. This condition is called insulin resistance. “Most pregnant ladies do not suffer from diabetes because the pancreas starts to produce additional quantity of insulin to compensate for insulin resistance. But when the pancreas of a woman cannot produce extra insulin, blood sugar remained abnormally high and believes that the woman has diabetes in pregnancy.

Increased risk of developing diabetes in women who

  1. Have as obese

  2. Have diabetes in the family

  3. Have previously wholesale baby with great weight

  4. Had dead baby or the baby with the genetic defect

  5. Have more than 25 – the age

Symptoms

Most women with diabetes in pregnancy do not have any symptoms, in which we can’t recognize the situation, so it is recommended that all pregnant women take a test for diabetes between 24 and 28 – the week of pregnancy. The symptoms are usually not harmful and not endanger the lives of pregnant:

* Ease of fatigue
* Nausea
* Vomiting
* Increased thirst
* Frequent urination
* Blurred vision
* Loss of weight regardless of the increased appetite
* Common infections of the urinary tract, and skin of vagina

Prevention:

There is no known method of prevention of diabetes, mainly because diabetes is due to the effects of normal hormones of pregnancy. But the effect of insulin resistance may be offset by carefully observing the diet, avoidance of overweight lifetime and maintaining a reasonable physical activity.

The truth is, to conceive a baby boy, the intercourse time plays a very major function in order to stack up better odds for you, as discussed below:

Both Sperms of Boy and Girl are Unique

Are you aware that, the truth is, a male’s sperm do determine the baby’s gender? This is one important thing on conceiving a boy, You read that correctly, a mom’s egg has no importance with it. There were 2 types in a sperm; this is an X and Y chromosomes. When the X chromosome sperm reach first a woman’s egg then you’ll have girl baby. But if your Y chromosome sperm first reach it, you’ll have baby boy.
